Talents :)
No it’s not what you think. Hahaha. I won’t tell you what my talents are. Cause I believe they are not something i can really brag about. (Just some little skills like you know..HAHAHAHA kidding)
Well Rissa, (one of my blockmates) invited me to her rehearsal with the Ateneo Blue Symphony (It’s an orchestra). As I watched them play, I can feel tears running around my eyes. I felt so touched and out of place at the same time.
Touched, because I see these people around me. Playing their own instruments, and sounding good individually. But, when you try to listen to them playing together. It’s a different kind of music. It creates a nostalgic feel. It feels like, music is created to be shared by people like them. Like us. It’s one of the things that keeps us connected even though we’re so different with one another.
I felt out of place too! I tried playing the piano when I was little. But I was so stubborn to keep practicing so I ended up not knowing how to read piano sheets. That was one of my biggest regrets. I never appreciated the skills I could have learnt and developed. I guess resentments DO come late.
To all of you guys who had the time to read this, if you have the chance to learn something new. Grab it! It’s something you should treasure. Something to cherish and live with. I am planning to learn how to play the saxophone. But I’m still thinking about it. (ASDFGHJKL Sax music literally pulls my heart from my chest everytime) What do you think? Let’s learn together!
